For our most recent installment of our “Meet the RocketBuilder” series, we bring you Caleb Francis, Software Developer. Caleb has yet to meet a technical challenge or large plate of food that he can’t tackle with ease. Caleb continues to impress our team and clients day-in and day-out with his masterful coding skills.
Q & A with Caleb
Q: What is your role at RocketBuild?
A: Software Developer
Q: What do you do for fun?
A: I try to spend as much time with friends and family as I can. When I’m home I like to make music and play video games.
Q: What’s your favorite local lunch spot?
A: I get a little too excited when we go to Punch Burger. It’s just so good.
Q: What languages do you prefer to code in?
A: Python <3 I also enjoy working with C#.
Q: If you had to stay up all night, what drinks and snacks would you need to keep you going?
A: Mountain Dew Baja Blast and Reese’s Cups (preferably one of the holiday versions). My stomach hurts just thinking about that.
Q: What got you into your career?
A: A year or two of self-teaching and a course at the Iron Yard. I met RocketBuild during an event at the Indy campus and applied later that day.
Q: What’s your favorite type of project or client to work with?
A: I love working with entrepreneurs on new mobile/web applications. Especially when we get the opportunity to build the whole platform, from the mobile app to the API. This is a great way for us to exercise our diverse domain knowledge and think about bigger problems.

A: My middle name is Onesimus.
